To observe Veterans Day this Monday, northAmerican has produced a video about our partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, featuring many stories and “thank you’s” from Sinise RISE (Restoring Independence, Supporting Empowerment) recipients, whom northAmercian has delivered services.
The Gary Sinise Foundation was founded in 2011 and has supported brave men and women that have worked to defend our freedoms, protect us here and overseas. The people that serve in the military and/or first responders, put their lives on the line every single day. Often resulting in life-changing consequences for themselves and their families. The Gary Sinise Foundation RISE program, with the support of many corporate sponsors, has specially developed and adapted smart homes to over 50 heroes with life-altering injuries. Currently, the RISE program has 18 more homes under construction and has many more to come in 2019.
NorthAmerican, as a valued Gary Sinise Foundation partner since 2014, has helped to safely deliver over 350,000 pounds of furnishings and personal possessions to well over half of these recipients.
On this Veterans Day, northAmerican would like to say “thank you” to the Gary Sinise Foundation and to the brave, courageous individuals, who they support, for their service and selflessness, and for the honor of helping them settle into their forever homes.
